  • Equipserv UK completion results September 2018 20/09/2018 Open or Close

    Equipserv UK are pleased to update our customers with our September performance figures. We completed over 730 jobs with a Job Completion % of 92%. September was a challenging month as we experienced a continuation of annual leave, however we adjusted work to ensure our customers were kept updated and deadlines achieved. With almost 35% of the jobs completed coming from services our geographic coverage was tested with services as far north as Inverness and as south as Cornwall and Hastings.

    With two new engineers on the road we are pleased to see them both settling in very well. This allows us to take some pressure off our other engineers and reduce travelling hours to increase response times, which currently stands at an average of 8 working hours to attend breakdowns.

    August has always been a challenging month due to engineers annual leave, however we are very pleased with our performance to manage and meet customer KPI's.
    Equipserv UK attended over 260 breakdowns and left 92% of them in a working condition. Our job completion % for the month of August was 90%. This is attending and completing works to plan. A great team effort by all especially our engineers who went above and beyond on many occasions.

    Since the launch of Equipclean at the start of year we have seen a steady increase in the number of jobs & having already passed the 50-mark – we are confident that this will have reached the 100-mark by the end of the year.

    The feedback we have had from a number of our customers has been positive in how the clean-out has been carried out on site & complimentary in that they see Equiplean as a value added option that they have integrated in to their service planning schedule.

    Attended 809 jobs and completed 736 which gave us an improved job completion percentage of 91%

This marathon takes in 37 miles worth of sights in and around Otley in the Yorkshire Dales and will climb almost 5000ft over the course.   • Restart A Heart Day 26/10/2017 Open or Close

    Through my voluntary work with The Yorkshire Ambulance Service, I was lucky enough to take part in this years ‘Restart A Heart Day’ on the 16th October 2017. Equipserv UK kindly gave me a Volunteer Day, allowing me to participate in the national event that saw over 25,000 children taught the lifesaving skill of Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within the UK.

    I was elected to assist at Outwood Academy in Sheffield, teaching Y9 students and teachers throughout the day with the use of 40 CPR manikins supplied by The British Heart Foundation. Although the day was exhausting and nonstop we managed to teach over 200 students in the day and I can’t wait to help out again next year.

    Currently in the UK, less than one (8.6%) in ten people survive a cardiac arrest. If we achieved the same survival rates of countries like Norway (25%), where CPR is taught in schools, an additional 100 lives could be saved each week - the equivalent of approximately 5,000 every year.

    EQUIPSERV UK has been awarded accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor for achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace.

    Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including SMEs and FTSE 100 companies.

    The company’s application for SafeContractor accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business.
